I am a graduate of Temple University where I received a degree in English Literature. I spent several years tutoring writing in college and worked with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have always been a confident learner and did well in school. I love to help others see the same kind of academic success I enjoyed by tutoring and working with students one on one. I find it a great joy to work with someone who is struggling in a subject but has a desire to learn, then work with them to discover new ideas, and eventually get them to the point they can work independently. My creative nature helps me to adapt to many tutoring styles, and incorporate various learning strategies as needed to meet the needs of individual students. I think the most successful students are able to think through problems creatively and think for themselves, and my job as a tutor is to help students reach this point.I am a great lover of the arts, and I enjoy acting, singing, and writing. I also like to exercise and do Zumba.
